Ray Ellison Family Center

The Ray Ellison Family Center offers an early childhood program that supports each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.

S.H.A.R.E. Center

The S.H.A.R.E. Center at Palo Alto College aims to support student success through engagement, advocacy, and co-curricular experiences. The center helps students with both short-term financial emergencies and planning toward long-term financial success. Short-term assistance can help students with resources like food, gas gift cards, rent and utility assistance, childcare, and tools for school like laptops, WIFI services. Long-term, coaches can assist students through our economic self-sufficiency program, which allows students to work with staff to become financially independent by obtaining employment that pays a living wage.

Emergency Fund

The Dr. Mike Flores Emergency Aid Program is a vital resource designed to provide immediate, one-time financial assistance to students facing unexpected financial hardships. Recognizing that unforeseen expenses can pose significant barriers to academic success, this program aims to help students navigate challenging times by covering essential living expenses.

Food Resources

Palomino Pantry is your on-campus resource for food and essential items. We are dedicated to supporting our students’ well-being by providing them with access to food and basic necessities. The Grab-N-Go lunch program is available daily for currently enrolled students. This program ensures that members of our campus community have access to meals. Visit us during normal operating hours to take advantage of this resource.

Mental Health and Personal Safety

Resources and information are available to support mental health and wellbeing. Brief, solution-focused mental health counseling can be scheduled free of charge for enrolled students. Counselors are available by phone, email, or zoom during regular office hours. All sessions require an appointment. Email pac-counselor@alamo.edu to schedule an appointment.

Transportation

Palo Alto College provides two convenient public transportation services for the campus community. These options are designed to simplify your commute, whether you’re going to class or working on campus.

Veterans and Military Services

Services to assist Active Duty, Reserve and Veteran service members and their eligible dependents reach their educational goals. in admissions, career services, student life and more!
