3.4. Degree & Transfer Plans
So, you have a goal of getting a college education. This may be a mid-term goal towards a long-term goal of entering the career of your choice or being a role model for your family. Choosing a major, finding your degree or transfer plan, and following the plan will provide the path to reaching your educational goal.
At Palo Alto College, there are several resources to assist you with degree planning. Take a few minutes to look through these sites:

Activity 3.4: Your Degree or Transfer Plan
Answer the following:

____ Yes – Using the Transfer Plans link above, find and print the transfer plan for your major at the University you plan to attend.
____ No – Using the PAC Degree Plans link above, find and print your certificate or Associate degree plan.
Activity 3.5: Create Your Individual Success Plan
Using your degree or transfer plan as a guide, list the courses you will need to take in your next two semesters.

It is important to meet with your advisor each semester to ensure that you are taking the correct courses in the right order. Following your degree/transfer plan and meeting with your advisor will ensure that you do not take unnecessary courses.
