Campus Resources
Your college wants you to be successful and provides many resources to assist you. All these services are provided at no additional charge. If you are having trouble in a course, there is tutoring. If you are having economic challenges, the Palo Alto College S.H.A.R.E. Center can help. If you are stressed about something difficult happening in your life, there are Personal Counselors available. For most issues that are a barrier to your success, there is a resource available on campus. An important step to getting back on track is to recognize where you need help and then take the initiative to get that help. The Palo Alto College Student Resources

As you are thinking about the many resources available to help you succeed, it is important to remember that your instructors are excellent resources. They can give you feedback on how you are doing in their classes and clarify information that you are having trouble understanding. Your instructors know a lot about what it takes to be successful in college and can give you good advice and direct you to useful resources. Make a point of visiting your instructors several times during the semester during their office hours or set an appointment.
